christmas 2019

Hello my friends, luong  time no see. I am not back for sure and this will be a v short blog post but just wanted to summarise my Christmas so I don’t forget it for myself.

This Christmas can be summarised in two words: Stryker and Diana.

Was working through Christmas and only really got two days off (the 25 and 26) but that’s ok cus  happens to a lot of people. Went to Epik with a few of Diana’s friends plus Viv T and yuan. Yuan the dumb shit took too many jellybeans in a short period of time and full freaked out, had to go to the med tent.

Saw niina for the first time in a while Cus she’s interning in Perth. Went shppping with her and we bought Christmas presents!!

Christmas Eve spent working, then went to cousin manly’s house for a big Luong family Christmas party. Got v lit and Diana and her best friend ended up crashing the party upon my request HAHAHAH. We got lit as and they started playing hardstyle in front of all these old asian parents and they were thoroughly confused. Also made a big ass batch of grilled salmon for them to eat, gonna have to make more for my mum’s side’s Christmas party.

Christmas spent with my fam and Diana over at my house. We finished a nice puzzle! Diana got me a new penny board Hehehehehheeh and I got her some new shoes and Chloe perfume that I/she likes. Was so nice because never had someone buy such nice Christmas presents for me before and just gift exchanging feels so nice n special 🥴🥴🥴. Not that I haven’t received Christmas presents before I mean like actually one on one exchanging yenno?? Idk im just fkn gay. Boxing Day spent at Gordon’s Bay snorkelling with Diana and Yvonne, then shopping to find kk gifts still omfg. Gordon’s bay is so nice and so many little fishy to seeeee.

For parent’s 30th anniversary they forced us to take studio family photos. I bought my mum a $300 necklace and my dad bought her a $1400 ring omfg so fricken spoilt.

Went to la perouse to snorkel today again and holy shiet even better there were so many fish!!!

what's up everybody, welcome back to my channel!

I have been gone for SO LONG omg I think this is the longest hiatus I have taken since I started this blog all the way back in year 12.

If anyone even cares that I am still alive, going to summarise my latest thoughts and feelings and not go through everything that has happened in the last month otherwise we would be here for 5 hours.

The biggest thing that has been happening thus far is my new job at Stryker. My first real job ever with real clients and consequences. I'm a field service engineer meaning I go out to hospitals that have Stryker equipment in circulation and my job is to repair/maintain that equipment. I'm focusing mainly on these big machines called Neptunes that suck up stuff during operations.

I HAVE SO MUCH SOCIAL ANXIETY EVERY DAY meeting so many people and making small talk with them holy crap but I'm trying my best :( I can tell people think that I'm hella awkward and don't know what to do with my body most of the time and I feel like shit when I don't know what to say sighs

Anywho, the actual job is really fun and I get to see new things every day which is nice.

I haven't been to uni in about 2 weeks and hence have not seen any uni friendos in about the same amount of time :( been splitting myself between Stryker, Diana and then Saucy Six and I feel so bad because I'm so flaky.

Been recently having quite an existential crisis about life and how uni is going to end in less than one year, I'm so scared of fending for myself in the real world.

I started listening to this podcast called Potterless and its actually so good 10/10 would recommend for Harry Potter fans. Its this 24 year old dude reading Harry Potter for the first time ever and him talking about his thoughts/feelings etc.

first and last days

Monday

I got sent my contract for Stryker today ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Finally made it into a biomedical company and job WAHOOOOOO. Super keen and I start on Thursday. Just reading my boss' email today about introducing me to everyone in the workplace is giving me ANXIETY . Like every time I have to start all over again and meet people makes me so nervous. I remember when I first started my wire cutting job at r2p and I was dreading having to introduce myself but fast forward 2 months and I find it so chill now because I know most people

Today was my last day at r2p and I was so nervous going in to tell my boss that I was quitting. He was so stone-faced and emotionless... I was kinda like uhhhhh. Rip because was having so much fun with my co-workers and Viv recently.

Last week, Viv thought it would be fun to tell them all I had a girlfriend without me being there and apparently they were all so shocked HAHAHHA. One of them was like "omg it all makes sense now???" and Viv said, "what makes sense..." and he was like, "every time I tell Serena to do something she just says yes, unlike you. you complain so much".

Told my supervisor Ujjwal I was leaving and he said cool and was happy for me that I found something in the biomed field. He also said I was still invited to the staff Christmas Party xD. He's so cute and wholesome ughghghghh.  Sad reacts because was getting good at a lot of the stuff at r2p and was gaining heaps of knowledge about their operations :(

had work (last day) and then drove Viv and myself back to uni. Viv, Yiyi, Niina, Bree and I went to watch HUSTLERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. it was so entertaining and annoying to see how amazing all their bodies were sad reacts

rewind: last friday

Anywho, last Friday/Sat was cute catch up with Niina who I have barely seen this sem. I see her like once a week on Tuesdays and das all. We went to the beach with some of her high school mates cus it was hecking hot but we got there like just as the sun was setting so it was getting QUITE CHILLY. We didn't swim but got food afterwards from a super yum fish n chips shop near clovelly. Camped out at Bronte Beach, sat on the grass and ate for ages. They talked for sososoos long - it felt like 2 hours but then eventually Niina and I headed home back to hers. We basically fell into her bed and slept

In the morning, woke up bright and early and headed to Coogee to swim in this women's only section. despite it being 27 degrees, the water was freezing so we only stayed in it for many half an hour before getting out and just tanning in the the sun. I'm trying to return to my post Cambodia colour. Got a mango smooooooooooooothie hehe.

Afterwards, had to rush back to my area to sort out a costume for Cosette's Halloween party that night. I plus one'd Diana and along with Bree, we decided to dress up as .... A BEAN. Diana and I went to Bunnings to pick up some free cardboard, then to Lincraft to get some fabric and paint. We cut up the cardboard and painted it in my garage. My parents are just so done with me.

Cosette's party was chill as. Her and her boyfriend organised so many games for us to play throughout the night but honestly the best part was when we were just sitting and talking. Actually got to talk to Yasmin properly for the first time ever and she's so heckin cool. I pointed at Diana and was like, "this is my girlfriend" and Yasmin was like, "yeah I was like :/// but wasn't too sure" and then I was like, "nah we're just bros" and then Diana was like, "nah we're actually cousins" and then Yasmin was SO CONFUSED.

It took us two hours to get home that night and my parents let Diana sleep over!

last saturday

The next day, I had tutoring so I dropped Diana off, tutored two children and then went back to hers. WE went to her cousin's house to pick up some fishing rods and we attempted to fish hehehe. IT WAS SUCH A FAIL GRRRRRRRRRRR but still a fun time chilling outside. The fishing line kept getting caught on rocks and shit and it was so windy the line kept blowing back towards us. Fucking ceebs.

Afterwards Diana was craving oysters so we just went to this oyster bar in cabra. Tried one and legit wanted to vomit ew. Then went back to hers and chilled for the rest of the night - didn't do any work WHATS NEW.

Tuesday

stayed up v late finishing the biom tutorial so I ceebs going to my tute. dogged uni that day.

hung out with Diana and ate mamatang AHHHH so goooooood

Wednesday

dogged uni again cus all I had was one wiesoc meeting that was probs going to be half an hour anyway. after the meeting, finished off the table cards and started doing the table names for ball.

hung out with Diana again hahahahha. we had the $1 chicken schnitty at rashays. Was so good and so worth. 

after that, went back to mine to do some art xD

WIESOC name cards WERE SO AIDS TO DO HOLY SHIT, i had to try to fit as many names into the space as possible but minimising material waste and maximising font size and after 2 hours I finally did it... only to realise I GOT THE SIZE OF THE FKN WOOD WRONG and it was actually smaller than expected. I literally wanted to kms. finished it eventually by 2:30am and sent it off to the events team to cut xD. also since i shifted so many names around to make it as compact as possible, I was actually missing 3 names by the end of it and legit couldn't fit them anywhere so had to change all the font to be smaller.

they came out looking so cuteeeeeee but I just found out that I spelled Aayushma's name wrong so RIP ME

TODAY (THURSDAY)

WOOOOHOOOOOOO first day at Stryker. Walked into the office and my manager took me around to meeting everyone and again, I'm socially RETARDED but I tried my best. Everyone is so friendly hehehe. The office is super chill, people be listening to music on their headphones and wearing chicken costumes.

Chilled with this service engineer Ahlysha while I was waiting for my supervisor Michael. We talked about the most random shit and like her job actually seems very fun too. Went out to Macquarie University hospital to fix a surgical light but turns out there was only a very minor issue with it so we finished very early, had lunch at this Viet place with shit pork rolls and then went back to the office. 

was chilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!! We also installed a docking station for the Neptunes. I am keen for my 2nd day tomorrow :)

Wednesday

Drove Phuc to uni and got there at around 10:30 am, in time for my subcom meeting. Meeting was so unproductive omfg. Bree and Yushi were just laughing the entire time about ??? and we're struggling to choose a new logo -.-

After meeting, went to meet Diana after work at Potts Point and had some brunch with herrrrr. Was a bit rushed because she had to get home to say bye to her sis who is leaving to London for 1 year. 

Room 10 - go some stewed beef or lamb thing i forgot HAHAHA but it was so good, would recommend. Diana's ocean trout bread was v mediocre :(

Went back to uni to do a bit of work then had a PR x IT bonding. It was a very subdued affair but still fun. We played cards against humanity and watched Swiped in the background. Actually the shittest movie. Then dropped Yiyi to her car and drove to tutor my cousin who is in the middle of her HSC rn. 

Weak bitch me went to visit Diana after tutoring HAHHAHA 

Put up the polaroid I took with me directors on my table hehhe its a little shrine of polaroids and photobooth strips now.

Thursday

Went to work today. Worked with Van and Henry today... fucking Vivian had to tell everyone about Diana so I had to answer so many questions about us today BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY HAHAHHAHA they are all so fucking dumb and insensitive but I don't blame them. Van and his sausage jokes. They asking me about the kind of girls I liked and when did I know etc just so bloody annoying but funny educating them.

we are 95% done with assembling the TGUs holy crapppp we've been doing them continuously for like 3 weeks.  Just gotta put the face plates on then pack them. glad they are being yeeted out of the warehouse finally.

It started thunderstorming just as work was ending. We all gathered in the IDI area and chilled, crimped some wires. Went home and it thunderstorm cleared up v quickly. Dicked around at home for a while watching the Jeffree Star series, had dinz then went on a quick maccas run with Diana. I think my parents don't think she's a bad influence anymore hehehehe they asked me why I didn't invite her over for dinner O_O

Highlights from the last two weeks!! 

Time management has been quite poor

Cambodian's Night Out

Went out with Cambodians + Amy last last Friday and it was fun while it lasted. I love drinking with them because they can all handle their alcohol and also drink SO FAST. We ate at Chinatown Noodle House and bought soju from there instead of getting BYO because from our calculations, it ends up being around the same. Ended up being $34 for dinz and drinks which is not bhed!! 

After that, we were all very drunk and stumbled to K1 where they dropped me off. They kicked on at Sanct and an arcade while I made a goddamn fool of myself at Sarina's party. I met Sarina a few weeks ago the first time I went to Masif. She's super nice and friendly heheh but my only interactions with her have been when I've been SLOSHEDDDD so I don't actually know what she's like.

Job Interviews

Had two interviews in the past week, both on the last two Tuesdays and for different departments in Stryker. I thought the first one went bad and the one I just did today went good by WHO KNOWSSS. I think I answered the questions well and vibed with them. They were very very chill and like talked about movies and Netflix so me confused. Stumbled over my words like twice but I recovered well I HOPE. Maybe I'm just looking back on this interview with rose tinted glasses because I want Stryker SO BAD.

ok update, I THINK I GOT IT!! I say I think because I haven't actually gotten the offer yet. They want me to go on a one day trial around a hospital to see what they actually do and figure out if I actually like it or not?? but YEEEEET THE BOIS

update - since writing this I actually got it OMFG. HAHAHHA I start tomorrow at Norwest Private oooooft

Work @ r2p

Viv Tran started working at r2p and we been bonding because we always work together (ew). hahahha JOKES she's chill and surprisingly whack but cannot give out too many compliments because Yiyi reads this blog. We've been making cables for the TGU and also actually assembling the TGUs. Fun so farrrrrr hehe. Worked on the 10th, the 11th, 14th, 17th and 18th of Oct since last logging my pay.

Yushi's Drunk Call

Yushi drunk called me on Monday and said I was a pocket rocket because I was small but so energetic which is odd because I am not energetic but i will take the compliment

she also said i was the best vp ever and when she hung up she said i love you Serena and i said i love you too yushi and it was disgusting but i was under pressure... my cold dead heart thawed momentarily

WIESoc Escape Room

Went to an escape room with the WIESoc GORLS for PR / Events bonding. It was too easy grrrrrrr but still very fun. Yushi, Navya, Jemima and Lavanya were in my room. Jem and I had to run on this treadmill thing for so long and so hard that we were legit puffing. It didnt lead to the next clue so the staff had to give us a clue to run at the same speed.

Then went to Yomie's to see Diana. She was with her workmate Rita hahah and Rita keeps joking like, "oi diana is your girlfriend here to pick you up from work again". it makes me laugh when people are cluelesssssss but also i just want Diana to tell everyone already >:(

Flora and Fauna

Yay Diana and I went to Fairfield Showgrounds to buy more goldfish to fill the tank we won from petbarn. Also went to buy some succulents for my PR team since I was leaving :( We saw this cute as fuckkkkkkk RABBIT WHEN WE WERE THERE OMG looks like something out of a Disney movie.

Flora and fauna!! they looked so nice and fresh so I had to buy them hehe.

 

Eventually went back to Diana's to set up the tank. We named the first two Anka and Unka (because her dogs are named Inka and Eka). We went back to the fish shop not before long to get another two black fishies because we thought Anka and Unka would be lonely. Yiyi said we should call them harambe because they were going to die soon. 

 Almost a week later, they are still alive so JOKES ON U YIYI. meow meow is also going well!

Finishing up WIESoc tings

AGM

I cried like a little bitch at WIESoc's AGM omfg. Before my president Viv B said her speech, I was legitimately having such a good time. Like being able to actually enjoy other people's speeches without the anxiety of having to go up soon was SO GOOD. This time last year I was so nervous, my heart was pounding, I was up against two other people who were actually experienced with PR things xD. After I did my speech, so much adrenaline and nervousness left my body that I felt like vomiting holy shit. 

ANYWAY I really liked everyone's speeches. Bree's was so genuine heck me, Vivian T was such a power woman, Yiyi was a comedian (as always - but she just paused and everyone laughed), Hasara was a mum, Emily Lee was actually really confident and proved to us that she could do Arc Del with so much ease, Jemima had a lot of nervous energy but she got the message across .... and Angela muthafucking Tandon - 10/10 can command a room and is just so hecking GREAT

Then came the time when the old team had to get up so Viv B could say nice things about us all and like idk I was fine until she got to me and then I just burst into tears and for the rest of her speech I was just concentrating on not crying anymore and looking like a weak bitch grrrrrrrrr. I can't even remember what she said but it was really nice :( I looked over at Bree and she was as red as tomato crying as well rip. So sad that WIESoc is over - the fact I won't have a legitimate excuse to dick around at uni with these people anymore and they won't be forced to see me every week is sad as shit. 3 years of me life dedicated (somewhat) to this society and now its donez0

PR Dinz

saying bye to my PR team :( Eugenia and Tanvi are actually leaving uni so I doubt I'll ever see them again. The rest I might see around at uni but again, they aren't forced to see me every week anymore so they will probably fuck off. Except for Bree who I've chained to me by buying us tickets to Trixie and Katya next year xD

We had our last official meeting with me as VP and I bought coffees for everyone - its like I don't earn minimum wage or something?? Then we had dinz that night at Goros and they surprised me with some flowers and donuts heheh it was so sweet.  I gave them the succulents and told them I was going to 3D print them some shit but it was just taking long. I only got around to doing Bree's that morning

But yass, wrote them cards as well and I hope they are all happy and touched by my words. something must've scarred me in my childhood that has left me emotionally stunted because I really can only express how I feel through writing. Anywho, this is meow meow posing in front of the flowers they got - they smell so good!

Went to night noodles with this cutie after the PR dinner hehe. Went with her workmate Rita and her boyfriend too but we kinda separated after a while and just did our own thing. 

Road to Summer Gathering

So I bought tickets to this rave ages ago with Joanne, but it was only us two going so knowing Joanne, I was just waiting for that message all week from her saying she was ceebs. BUT IT NEVER CAME!! So yeet met up with Jo at Town Hall after I visited Diana at Muji for her last day rip. 

Haven't seen Jo in soooooooooooooooooo long and properly talked to her. We went to Chinatown Noodle King and caught up. She's always so supportive of me and caring like idk just one of those people who make me feel important in this world. Missed her :( 

We found out that we're both going to Japan at the same time next year omg and talked about random things. Jo said I seemed so much happier these days. Idk if thats a good thing because I don't want to lose touch with reality because there is still so much shit I need to sort out with myself. We left the restaurant and I asked Jo if she wanted to meet Diana and since she was drunk and no longer socially anxious, she was like HELL YEAH. We bought Diana flowers as well on the way there HAHAHHAHAHAHA. 

Diana was so embarrassed by us waltzing in while she was working the register and giving the flowers oooops. 

The actual rave was sooooooo good holy shit. When we went in, we found so many people we knew like Andy, some of his yellow shirts and a bunch of good VSA people like Kieran, Mon, Winnie and Harry. It was lit as heck!! Bumped into Hilda, Diana's friend and she asked me to cuddle her and I was like lowkey is this ok??? but decided it was ok HAHAHAHHA IDK I asked Diana afterwards and she said ya ofc its fine but I felt like I was betraying her in the moment anywho that's a bit tmi

afterwards, met up with Diana at Rita and Alice's place. They were celebrating her last day at Muji with lasagne and drinks xD. We chilled inside Alice's room and just lay on her bed mucking around I think. IDK what happened I was pretty lit. Diana drove me home from Canley station.

After work, drove to Amy's horsey place to watch her ride but she was over at Centennial park so I ceebs and just waited in the carpark. They came back and we met up with Eugene at Entertainment Quarter to watch Joker!!! WAS SO GOOOOOOOD OMG so so so good. weird that critics aren't really liking it?? Went to dianas and thats when the whole debacle of last blog post happened

Friday

oooooooft Vivian's first day at r2p HAHAHA. She was already there at 8 am and we literally didn't do anything until 8:30 oop. But yeah so chill, we spent like an hour or so finding components for this thing that our supervisor wanted us to make but it was such a struggle. Then, he put us on cables together and it was so chill, we just stayed in the cable dungeon cutting wires and talking. 

Had monthly company lunch where they get us food for free heheh. Was soooo good holy shit. Also had a sara lee ice cream cake afterwards for dessert and was just so spoilt xD 

Went back to making cables before being asked to make the thing that Viv and I found all the components for. After work, went home and like did nothing ya yeeteeeett. 

Saturday

Da Tweekaz Day!!

Woke up and tutored Bianca, then met up with Diana. I drove her to Merrylands to get doggo Eka groomed and omfg she came out looking so cute and smol

 While we were waiting, we ate GYG and went to Petbarn and did some colouring.

Then got ready for Da Tweekazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I picked up Diana's best friend Yvonne from her house and drove us all back to my house so we could catch the train from Carramar.

Had dumplings and soju at Chinatown Noodle King mmmmmmmm. Diana finally told her best friend about us and of course Yvonne already freaking knew omg. It was so cute though she was very happy for us and when I went to the toilet after Diana told her, Yvonne said, "I LOVE SERENAAA" UWU. She knew since we went to Masif the first time which was like two months ago. She asked if we kissed yet and Diana and I were like, "what?? no???" HAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA

Then we went to Sanct to meet up with Hilda and Linda, Diana's other friends and Hilda also said she was happy for us hehehe. Had some jagerbombs courtesy of Linda and a long island. 

Then headed to MASIF for tweekacore. Was heckin' amazing omg I was so drunk but didn't take anything - still so fun!! Everyone around us was so cooked though and lowkey think the water bottle I took off a random was spiked with something because the lights started looking hella bright O_O 

anyway, survived the night. Amy Lim drove us all home because she was sober and got home at 4:30 am HAHAHAHAHHAHA oop sorry mum....

Sunday

wholesome, stayed at home most of the day trying to do some work. Didn't do much -.- 

Then after my parents left for dancing, I vroom vroomed to Dianas and chilled there for the rest of the night. Delivered some gong cha and hot star hehehhe. I think I saw her 6 out of 7 days this week

a sticky situation

Hi so this is a non-traditional blog post that I'm writing because I'm currently petrified of going upstairs to confront my mother. It's about to get real personal up in here.

Basically what happened is I went out tonight with Amy, Stephen and Eugene to watch Joker. Before tonight, I had been consistently coming home past 11 pm or not coming home at all so my mum was quite unhappy with me. For the past few weeks, I had also been sleeping over at other people's houses at least two times a week..... and saying it had been a mixture of Diana, Niina and Amy but really it was just Diana.

My mum called me just after the movie finished and I made Amy, Stephen and Eugene all say hi over the phone so she knew I was with them (and not Diana). So whatever, mum was happy because I said I was heading home soon.

Narrator: She did not head home soon.

Drove my ass to Diana's faster than you can say whipped. I wanted to sleep over again so thought I would do the rational, logical thing and call my mum to tell her I was staying over at Amy's "as the gang were playing board games late".

She DID NOT BUY IT holy fuck she asked me to pass the phone to Amy and I said, "nah she's playing board games she can't talk". Literally dug my own grave because she became even more suspicious and started yelling at me, "YOU BETTER NOT BE SLEEPING OVER AT DIANA'S HOUSE. Why are you always spending time at random people's houses these days. I'M GOING TO CALL AMY'S MUM TOMORROW MORNING."

Amy's mum 100% wouldn't lie for my ass

Talked to Diana and messaged Amy and decided the best course of action was to go home with my penis (tail) between my legs. 

So now I'm home, my mum 100% knows I'm back because my dad had to come downstairs to undo the door chain for me, but I haven't seen her. She's upstairs watching her asian dramas before she goes to bed and I'm legitimately not going upstairs to my bedroom UNTIL SHE FALLS ASLEEP. I'm actually scared of her right now I keep imagining her storming down the stairs and slapping the shit out of me. Fuck I am actually scared of my mother. 

Just an overall big sad because my two options are:

1. Tell her that I'm seeing Diana.
   Best Case: She's totally accepting, allows me to see Diana (but without sleepovers duh), is happy for me and we all live peaceful lives.
   Worst Case: she forces me to stop seeing Diana and if I disagree, I get disowned / kicked out of the house. I think the second is more likely.
2. Continue seeing Diana in secret
   Best Case: I limit contact so I get home at reasonable hours which means spending less time with Diana :(
   Worst Case: my mum continues getting more and more suspicious which means I have to lie to her EVEN MORE than I already am leading to more stress for me, degradation of me and mum's relationship which is already shit and just fucking surviving off lies which will actually drive me insane

My coping mechanism right now is just turning this whole thing into a joke and laughing at how unfortunate I am but also I don't want have so much self-pity because really, people actually do get kicked out and shit, at least I have a roof over my head and food in my belly 

I think my mum finally stopped watching her Asian dramas and I can finally go back up and sleep. Going to get 6 hours of sleep at this rate. It's funny because she was only super mad tonight because she knew I had to go work early tomorrow and didn't like that I was staying up late at Amy's.

As a kid my mother always yelled at me for talking back and I wonder now if that's what makes me so scared of confrontation and disagreeing with people? I like listening to murder podcasts and hearing how the childhood of the murderers shape who they eventually become and before around Year 12, I genuinely thought I had a good childhood. But looking back now, I cried over getting 92% for a math test one time because I was scared of my mum punishing me for not coming first. I was genuinely terrified during parent teacher interviews because if my teachers said anything negative about me my parents would yell at me about it in the car and I'd start crying.

All of this could be bullshit and I might just be finding excuses for my fucked up personality and bad daughter behaviour right now so........ xD

On a side note, Joker was heckin good, would highly recommend!!!!!

Monday

Had work, James started working for the first day xD

Tuesday

had Stryker interview for this marketing position. I thought it went well hehe my interviewers were sooooooooo nice omfg. Started talking about nerf guns and bionicles

then went to uni, killed some time with Amy, Stephen, Niina and Bree while waiting for my first Mechanics of The Human Body lab. I met up with Viv B to walk to this neurological research facility near uni, Neura and we did motion capture on me omg!!! I basically got all these markers stuck to me in the lab and then I had to walk on some force plates while 8 ish cameras were recording the reflections from my markers. WAS LIT AS HECK!!

Went to Amy's house and bought takeaway malatang on the way. Eugene and Mei were already there, helping make the Dead By Daylight cake for Andrew's birthday surprise the next day. 

Wednesday

Had my WIESoc meeting in the morning then yeeted off to Canberra with Stephen, Amy, Mei and Eugene to surprise Andrew for his very very belated birthday. our car ride was just us singing a bunch of songs and eating all the snacks we bought.

Finally arrived outside Andrew's apartment and his roomate's boyfriend let us up. We opened the door to his room and yelled surprise and he was sooooo shook and kept saying what the fuck? 

They went out to get Chatime while I stayed in the apartment working on the case comp. Then we went out for dinner altogether at this fancy-esque restaurant called Akira. It was actually so yum.

Afterwards, Eugene and Mei distracted Andrew by taking him to Messina while Stephen, Amy and I finished off the cake. When we lit the candles, the smoke alarm went off omg HAHAHAHA

afterwards, played a few rounds of code names and they drank. Stephen and I didn't drink because we were going to be driving back to Sydney. But the GORLS got soooooooooooo DRUNK like they were screaming in the back seat of the car for an hour when we were driving home -.-

Thursday

Didn't go to work oop because had to prepare for the WIESoc case comp (Design Challenge Express) and was also beat from the day trip to Canberra. This is what James snapped me from work haha

Went to uni and met up with Yiyi and Viv to practice our preso. Was getting so fucking NERVOUS. 

Had the actual comp at night, a few of us went earlier to help set up. Took some videos of Bree Jolley being a retard. Then we met up with our mentor for an hour to refine our presentation hehehe. 

Then actually went up and did our presentation, I could feel words coming out of my mouth that were extremely non-sensical but yallah - got through it with Niina giving me 10 extra seconds to finish up!! WAS GOOOOOD heheh. I was so worried about fucking up my closing statement but all g I GOT IT OUTTTTT. HAHAHAH we look so depressed in this pic!!

The Yeetles 2.0 didn't win unfortunately but we had fun and learnt quite a bit as well. Was so happy when a few people said that they thought ours was really good afterwards hehe

Afterwards, Hamez drove the Yeetles to Central. Took the train home and then got picked up by Diana at Canley Vale Station. 

Friday

Workkkkkkkk. No longer doing cables wahooooo. Was working on IDIs which were these big display screens. Was even testing them xD. Here is a cat update that my mum sent.

After work, picked up Niina from Westmead, got ready at my house then went out to the city for Bree's Birthday BASH. Niina and I had a bottle of soju before seeing Yiyi, Amy and Stephen through the Star Bar glass window. They came outside and we bought another 3 bottles of soju which we snuck into Star Bar. 

We drank more, somehow made it all the way to The Argyle. Had an espresso martini for the first time and it was so gross

 I think Diana shouted Bree some Jagerbombs??

Angela talked to me and diana for a solid 20 minutes about how amazing we both were idk she was sooooooooooooooooo cooked

Saturday

Diana slept over at mine but i had tutoring early in the morning so I dropped her off at a train station near my tutor kid's house. Tutoring was fine :/

Afterwards, I'm pretty sure I went home and like napped?

Went back out again at night for Ohana drinks. We went to Chinatown Noodle house for some cheap dumplings and noodles :) Drank a bit of soju but not enough to get me fucked. Diana came too and met Joyce, Lianne and Lulu but it was mostly just us catching up. 

Diana was tired so we took the train back to Canley earlier. Ended up getting to her car on the roof and getting the skateboards out again hehe

Sunday

The next morning, I tutored Aidan and then went to temple with Doiana. We prayed and said hi to my grandpa. Went to Tan Viet at Cabra for lunch and had the YUMMMMMM crispy skin chicken.

Then went to Million Life and wasted 10 dollarydoos - didn't win anything this time cus we were so shit. I think I went back to hers to chill again? There is a recurring pattern here methinks. Had to do a bit of work and we just watched some movies, got home late and my mum was like wtf. 

Monday

Went to work - started assembling emergency help points and soldering these blue things to these circuit boards.

After work, caught up on uni and WIESoc. Diana came over with gong cha and offered it my parents so they wouldn't hate her for always making me come home late. 

Tuesday 

Had WIESoc meeting 8-9 am and then hung out with Taimdaddy and Niina before my class at 12. We studied and listened to brown people music.

ooft I got to process the data from last weeks lab in OpenSim!! This is from me walking ya yeeet

Spent most of the day in that Samuels computer lab. Vincent came because he had a tute, then I hung out with him for a bit at Penny Lane because we had time to kill before our next class together. He is quite humorous xD

Then had a lecture, saw Tiffany oop

After uni, dropped Dalena off at Fairfield because hadn't seen her in twelve years then headed to Diana's. Had dinz at Fat Panda (for our one month xD). Didn't do much else, just went back to hers to chill because I was sososoos tired. HOW UNEVENTFUL HEHE

Wednesday

Phuc drove me to uni today EW, had my PR meeting which Sapna and Viv B decided to sit in on. Was quite uneventful, but sad because theres only two more after today. 

anywho, sitting in elec now catching up on blogging which has been a mammoth task. I AM TIRED i wish you all well and hope you don't kill yourselves in the next week.
