tripping the shop alarm

Went to work early today, waited for the guy who was supposed to open the shop with me (Nam). It was 9.10 and he hadn't shown up yet so I called him and he was like "lol just woke up...aren't I supposed to come in at 11 today??" then he started swearing when he realised HAHAHAH and I was like uhhhhh........

He tried to tell me how to unlock the door but legit took me 8 times before I opened it. Then he hung up and I vaguely rmbred that I had to disable the alarm before it went crazy but I didn't know how so I just kinda wandered around for a minute.

NEK MINNIT THE ALARM GOES OFF AND IT IS ONE OF THE LOUDEST MOST EAR PIERCING THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD.

IF YOU TRY TO ROB OUR STORE YOU WILL FAIL BCUS THE ALARM WILL MAKE YOU DEAF.

I frantically called Nam and was like "WTF HOW DO I TURN OFF THE ALARM" and he was like "press _ _ _ _" and I'm like "WHERE DO I PRESS IT" and he's like "near the bowls" and IM TRYING TO COVER MY EARS WHILE ON THE PHONE AND TRYIN TO FIND THE ALARM and when I finally turned it off my ears were legitimately ringing.

A few secs later one of the kitchen chefs arrived and was like "I HEAR ALARM FROM STREET".

Then boss calls the Me Oi phone and starts laughing bein like "did you turn the alarm off" and I'm like

Bao told me last time he didn't turn off the alarm security guards came to check up on the shop.

Anyway work work blah blah. Not rostered for next week because going to cruise on Fri and they're training new people.

Learning to teach selective?

Today I actually went back to the future. I went to Jimmys to observe someone teaching a class, in preparation for me taking a year 5 class IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I'M SO UNQUALIFIED. The teacher was Tracey (in my sister's grade at Canley Vale) and she was teaching speed, dist and time to a year 6 class. The whole time I was like WTF HOW DO YOU EVEN TEACH THIS TO YEAR 6 KIDS because I usually just do that shit in my head??? But how to teach it in a way that lil kids will understand?!?!?!?!??! I'm actually soooooooooooooo unqualified holy moly. I'm also so used to using a calculator but you can't use one in selective so gotta use long division and shit omg.

I'm just a general awkward person so idk how to deal with little children.

Went with parents to try this new Shang restaurant in Cabra. It was pretty good?? Not as good as like Din Tai Fung but yay there is finally a place I can go if I'm craving soup dumplings. Their green tea frappe is also yum! 

It has been ten mins since I wrote that because I just went to diarrhoea all the milky shit I drank today. I'm not shitting you. Ha ha get it. 

Anyway we ate soup dumplings, some wontons and this pork wrap thing idk.

Then went to Livo shopping to buy some cruise gear.

Yehhhhhhhhhhh........................so my family went to eat out TWICE today. We haven't done that in a while lol. The restaurant was at Wetherill Park. Also forgot to mention I was the chauffeur for the entire day. There's this giant roundabout on the way to Wetherill Park and it was so stressful both my parents were screaming instructions whilst I was driving and I was like WTF ARE YOU SAYING. 

Also FD I totally understand what you mean when you say car parks give you anxiety. THERE IS NO SPACE TO MANOEUVRE YOUR CAR. 

The food was pretty good but quite expensive :( My mum was like this is the last time we are eating out until cruise. Here are some poorly lit photos of the food.

Wednesday
went to Amy's house for another sleepover but this time there was actually a point. We were supposed to get stuff ready to tutor her brother Kevin. I bought takeaway from manmaruya and brought it to her house for lunch miam miam. Then we actually worked for a few hours - fixing my dodge ass shitty af year 11 notes and preparing hwk. We rolled around for a bit as well and played tetris friends.

After dinner (steak and roast) I tutored her bro. It was kinda awkward at first but after a few mins I got used to it. He was so sleepy he kept rubbing his eyes. But I think he understood most of what I was saying hhahahahahah. ha. ha???????? (WHOEVER NEEDS TUTORING I'LL TUTOR YOU (((GIVE ME YOUR MONEY))) )

This is Kevin. He games so much he doesn't have spare hands to eat his pear.

Later that night we watched Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. It was my third time watching it and it was still good.

Thursday
Next morning we had Korean black bean noodles for brek. Amy's mum is such a talented chef. Watched Leon the Professional whilst baking macarons. I will give my honest opinion on Leon the Professional once I watch the movie again because we were so busy baking macarons with electricity turning on/off all the time + trying not to die from the storm outside that we didn't properly watch it.

Amy's mum drove me to Hurstville so I could catch a train to work. All the trains were suspended so ended up being 20 mins late hahaha. Oh wells everyone who works with me is super nice so they didn't care.

What a weird night at work. It was pretty standard up till 9 o'clock. We usually start closing the shop at 9 since it starts to get quiet then. So I'm just chilling wiping sauce containers and then I see one of the shop's "partners" walk-in and I'm like fuck cus usually the partners always bring around 6 ppl with them to eat. NEK MINNIT HE'S LIKE LOL THERES AROUND 12 OF US COMING.

WE DON'T EVEN A TABLE BIG ENOUGH FOR 12 PPL. Our boss is really good friends with them so he goes upstairs and like rearranges all the tables to make enough room.

Then I see that the one girl out of the entire group is super pretty and I'm like wow she's too pretty to be a normal person and she kinda looks like lilymaymac even though I don't know who she is. I only knew her from steph tsajsdfjjja's insta/snapchat photo. So I go behind a wall and find her insta and ask for the opinion of Eric: "hmmmm does this girl look like Lilymaymac?" and he's like yup that's definitely her. He started fangirling when he found out she had 1.2 mil followers???  Nam downstairs already knew who she was lol. We were all like OMG ASK HER TO TAKE A PHOTO WITH US but we all too pussy.

Eric was like "i'll cover u while you take a photo." That's his shoulder. 

She asked for an extra chair for her probs 2k+ handbag. She ordered a small special combination pho if anyone is curious. I was fucking shouting over the noisy af 12+ table SMALL COMBINATION PHO and no one was even listening. So I went to like individual sections of the table and asked them. She didn't even know what she ordered and said she thought she ordered a rare beef??? But she was just like meh I will eat w/e so I just gave her that bowl of pho.

Lmao there are two guys holding iphone flashlights to provide sum extra professional lighting. 

Boss bought two huge boxes of beer for his friends. He said we could leave at 11 and he would clean upstairs when they were done so yay didn't have to stick around for that mess.

Next day had work at 9 so woke up at 7 fml after coming home at 12:30 the night before?????????? Lol went to work and boss called the restaurant and was like "WE WERE PARTYING UPSTAIRS THE WHOLE NIGHT. I LEFT THE RESTAURANT AT 5AM SO I'M NOT COMING IN IN THE MORNING". LOOOOL Francis and I opened the shop and we found unfinished bottles of soju and a shitload of unwashed shot glasses.

THE RESTAURANT WAS SO BUSY TODAY I DIDN'T EVEN BREATHE FOR 2 HOURS FAR OUT. THERE WERE ALWAYS PPL WAITING FOR TABLES LIKE LEGIT WHEN SOMEONE SAT DOWN NEW PEOPLE WOULD COME IN AND WE'D BE LIKE OH SOZ MAYBE 10 MINS. we all died. Anna Huang, Edda, Maggie, Elain and maybe someone else who I don't rmbr came to visit me. They didn't eat. LOL so it was kinda awks but after they left my coworkers said to me "thank god they didn't eat". Errybody so lazy HAHAHA.

So yay now I am home. velly tired.

Mi arms feel like jello

Went to "Sydney Indoor Climbing" at Villawood for train reunion part 2! I had never been indoor rock-climbing before so I was pretty excited. I was not disappointed.

Our whole train group went, minus Vickie, and plus Rhonda's bajillion cousins so we could have enough people to get a party pack. It was only $15 pp for unlimited climbing. 

The first time I climbed, I was pretty scared of how high I was getting. After the first one I wasn't scared anymore but after the 2nd my arms felt like they were going to fall off. All the old people (Fi, Rhonda, Christine) were so fit and did like 6 walls or smth idk they cray.

These were the big walls that you needed harneses for

 and the little ones you didn't need harnesses for.

My third wall was this weird one with a ledge jutting out and I got stuck at that bit but people were motivating me to keep going so I did and I got to the top. I actually felt like such an achiever after that. But ceebs stopped after that and only belayed Rhonda because my arms couldn't take any more. 

After rock-climbing we went through these fun caves. They were pitch black and you literally had to crawl on your stomach to fit through them. One was 40m long and took us 10 mins to navigate through. They had heaps of wrong routes which lead to dead ends so we had to feel around for each others legs to get through successfully. THEY WERE SO FUN THOUGH OMGGGGGG.

Then we went to get some frozen cokes from maccas. 

Had jap food from cabra for lunch?? Had some spicy Karaage chicken ramen that was yum but too spicy for me. Then some meet fresh for dessert. 

Then went to work. It was such a bad shift omg I stuffed up like 4 times I have no idea where my head was. Dropped cups, took the wrong order, misunderstood people. looool it was just bad. fk mi. 

Fip and viv thuy walked past. Had pho pho dinner. 

Made green-tea souffles the other day!! With Amy's mums recipe. 

Just watched the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and it was really good. Highly recommend if you feel like a light & fun movie.

finally home (Amy's Sleepover x2)

I was away from my home for almost 3 days.

On Tuesday I went to work, don't remember what happened, then went to Amy's for sleepoverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Had to wait for FD and Amy for like half an hour. I just sat on the floor outside Hurstville Coles and played Mr Jump so sad. The whole phamily came to pick us up (Kevin driving) but they just went home without us when they realised there weren't enough seats.

On the bus ride to Amy's house FD finally realised how much she hangs out with Victor. It ok though she's preparing for her future as his wife ;)

Amy's mummy made us pho for dinner and it was very yummy. It was a pretty chill night we just went on our phones until we decided to get drunk again. FD drank some mandarin soju shots with us but had to go home early. Mandarin soju is so yummy omg. Amy and I drank some vodka as well and we got weird. We started being like "you're such a good person" "no you're such a good person" "no I'm a terrible person" "omg stop you're so kind" and so on. I still haven't gotten drunk enough to vomit / do things that I don't remember. We tried to play monopoly but Amy was so gone and kept insisting she had to call Andrew. Also facetimed Connie and she was like wtf.

This is the key to HSC success: drink till you can't stand. Then you can sit and study.

The next day was such a slow day. We made breakfast crepes at like 12 and called FD back over. I really wanted to make them funky colours so I made one purple and one pink!!!!!! The pink one actually turned out looking like burnt skin.

Then FD the excellent P plater who is not going to kill anyone anytime soon went to pick up Stephen. We bought some kebabs for lunch and lalalala. We watched two movies: Shaun of the Dead (which everyone hated but I liked) and Spongebob the old one with David Hasselhoff...

Ate kebabs for lunch, homemade kbbq (with homemade kimchi as well!) for dinner and then baked some matcha souffles that were pretty ok??

Fd and I played portal 2 and it was so struggle but pretty fun. It requires so much team work hahaha.

Then slept over again cus yolo and I had work early the next day soooooooo might as well stay in Hurstville since its closer. I'm the Phamily's third child fo reals. Amy suggested I wash my jeans so we (she) did lel. We put it in the dryer for 20 mins but it was still wet.

I woke up the next day and had to hairdry my jeans. First time in a long time I have gotten only 5 hours of sleep. Tb to badminton days when that would happen every week.

Went to work, pretty standard day, got screamed at twice haha. Then my parents visited me and ate some lunch. They were so damn embarrassing omggggggggggggggggggggg. They started talking to my boss about me and they were all talking in viet and I felt like I was at a parent teacher interview???????? It was so weird. I made them come after 2:30 so I could take my break at that time then go home with them at 3. Co-workers were nice and offered to make them coconut water for free.

They started telling the surrounding people "that waiter is our daughter!!" and I was just like fkking hell just gonna keep wiping the table.

Then they started taking shitloads of pictures holy moly. Thank buddha the restaurant was not busy otherwise I would've actually died. These are only a fraction of what they made me take:

Cool/creepy train stories?????? u be da judge.

The past few days I have been driving a lot and working. That's basically it. I have nothing to blog about.

Anyway a couple of weeks ago after night shift at Me Oi, I was on the train by myself and I was reading the Martian. As the train was pulling up to Chester Hill, this middle aged guy spotted me and was like wow are you reading the Martian?? And I was like yeh I am (but inside I was like fk fk stop talking to me wtf are you doing). And then he started talking about Interstellar and Star Wars and all this stuff hahahah. He was like do you like science? And I was like yeh I studied phys and chem at school and he was like I studied chem at TAFE!!! He was really nice and excited about everything. He asked me for my email and I gave it because I didn't know how to say no and this is what he sent me:

This was like three weeks ago???? And I still haven't replied. Oh well. He seemed to have pure intentions but idkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk strangers scare me. He was so nice tho.

On Saturday there was this other guy who was like 100% pure creepy. There were a total of four people in my carriage: me, this other girl, this sleeping teenage guy and this creepy middle aged dude wearing sunnies. I was just napping but I noticed the creepy dude kept turning his head to look at the other girl then me. Like his head kept pivoting again and again and I was like wtf. I couldn't see his eyes behind his sunnies tho.

Nek minnit the other girl and the sleeping boy both get off at Punchbowl so its just me and the creepy dude and internally I'm cautious but not panicking cus maybe he was just casually looking??? So I just start playing games on my phone to make it look like I don't want to talk to anyone but fucking hell this guy MOVES SEATS TO SIT NEXT TO ME AND ASKS ME THIS BULLSHIT QUESTION "does dis train go to liverpool or lidcombe?" and I'm just like

so I do what any sane person would do and try to switch carriages but I have to make him get up before I can do that so I'm like excuse me and he gets up and I walk up the stairs but when the doors start to open at Bankstown I notice that he is fucking getting off too so I just sprint to the next carriage when the doors open cus fuck that I'm getting outta there

When I get to the next carriage I sit behind some random girl and I'm so relieved cus he's no where in sight. And then I go into reflection mode and think why would he ask me if the train was going livo or lidcombe if he was getting off at Bankstown anyway???

Anyway thats my life for the time being. Just drove a lot today and watched lots of Quantico :/ Had super dish for dinner.

just came home from Manly's fiancee's birthday party. Had a beer, a cider and 2 shots of tequila and feeling hella tipsy rn. I'm actually kind of lightweight if I think about it.

Sad by myself

New Years Even was so sad for me. I was supposed to go beach celebration with FD, Amy and others but my mother didn't let because she wanted me to spend it with family.

I sulked around for the whole day and cold shouldered the shit out of her. She eventually felt bad and bought me cruisers?????????????????????????????????????? Love her for fuelling my alcoholism. Then my dad offered to drive me to Brighton but it was like 8 already and I wanted to keep making them feel bad. 

I ended up watching Suits for the entire day and doing the puzzle I bought my sister for her 21st birthday because she was too ceebs to do it herself. So so so so tragic. Worst New Years Eve ever. Finished 80% of it after like 9 hours and the only bit left was the fucking grass which all looked the same.

Finished the puzzle today and also finished Suits. Wtf kind of cliffhanger was that?? Both Harvey and Mike's hair have become shittier since season 1.
