12 hour shift

Had a 12 hour shift at Me Oi on Sunday lol. I wasn't that tired during the shift but afterwards my legs hurt like shit. I am so sick of viet food its legit alternating pho and red rice every day.

Went out to Campsie for some jap food as a going away thing for Jessica who is leaving for China tmr poo poo. She bought a new lens thing from typo which kinda zooms out the camera so you can fit more stuff into it (technical explanation right here). We had lots of yummy food and saw Phynia walking past the restaurant.

Then we went Meet Fresh in Burwood for dessert miam. FD kept whaling that we weren't going to see Jessica the alien for 3 weeks. So strange.

I have a stye on my eyelid and its been irritating me for the whole day.

Went to temple this morning (lol temple on Christmas day) to tell my grandfather my atar. Trust me not my idea. My mother still believes that if we talk to his urn he will somehow hear??? For the 1000th time, shook some incense sticks and pretended to pray.

Had lunch with Angel and Xin after not having seen them in 5eva. After their hsc I promised to shout them chicken but it never happened and after my hsc they wanted to shout me chicken LOL.

Soooooooooooooooooo had some chicken at El Jannah and it was pretty good!! Don't know if I would trek to Granville/Punchbowl for it again tho. We had a whole chicken, chips, bread, some pickled shit and garlic spread. the garlic spread was nice but really pungent and stayed on our breath for so long.

Caught up on random HSC/uni stuff then went to Xin's house. Her room looked like a war zone. She was cleaning her closet so offered me some clothes lmao. She was planning on donating stuff she had never ever worn omg the tags were still on. Also all her tops were not wearable because of her huge boobs.

Then Angel drove us to cabra to get What the Fudge. Had the deep fried golden gaytime, mocha frappe and lychee watermelon juice. The deep fried golden gaytime was such a let down :((((( the pastry was still raw and there were way too many layers so bleurgh, mocha frappe was meh but the juice was pretty nice.

When I got ATAR I was like to my parents what am I getting for doing well?? Because Kylie told me her parents were giving her 500 for 99+ and they also gave Sandy another 500 for state ranking and I was like wtf my parents would not do that. But I was joking because they don't have to give me anything its just HSC but I think they felt bad so when we went out to Christmas dinner tonight they gave me this:

We ate at Chef's Gallery at Bankstown (there's one at Town Hall) and it was so so. Everything was very oily :( But the lychee and mango shake/juice was really yummy.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Finally got paid at work today omg. Been waiting for my money for so long. Francis got paid $1400 for two weeks so casually holding a fat envelope containing a bajillion $50 notes.

After work met up with sis to eat dinner. Didn't get food from Me Oi because wanted to eat with sis but My said they were still gonna deduct half an hour from my pay anyway so I just got a strawberry shake.

Ordered a kimchi and ribs stew from Danjee for dinner. It was very yummy but there was so much cabbage in it we couldn't finish it all.

Then watched Star Wars and it was really good!! I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan because only watched 4-6 a few weeks ago but I was still pretty excited for it. I was not let down!! Go watch it its so fun and yah. CGI is great (except for giant evil thing I don't even know the name of), story is fab, fight scenes are cool, lightsabers are still fucking boss. I MEAN LOOK AT THIS THING.

Apparently they paid Harrison Ford 34 mil to be in it but only paid the other leads (the white girl and black guy) around 500k. oops.

I thought the girl's acting was a bit off but w/e I'm generally not a good judge of acting. brb going to watch some youtubers review it / fanboy and scream.

Forgot to mention that I finished reading The Martian a few days ago and I really liked it!! It was so funny I actually laughed out loud on the train once. After watching the movie I could visualise all the science shit a lot easier. So cool I want to go to Mars now and survive on potatoes.

Started reading the Magician and its a bit meh. Its so damn long but used $23 on it so might as well finish it.

Train Reunion

Had the shittiest sleep last night: went to bed at 1, woke up at 3, tried to get back to sleep, failed, fell asleep at 5, then woke up at 8:30 for train reunion!!

Train reunion was at Vinh Phat cabra because thats where we went for our last meetup which was like  2+ years ago. Actually had not seen or talked to Anna in over a year and was looking forward to seeing everyone doing things with their lives.

Anywayyyy it was Fi, Rhonda, Christine, Anna, Tammy and I bcus Fip and Vickie couldn't make it / is not in this country at this moment.

We caught up and legit everyone is exactly the same as the last time I saw them. Rhonda is still wise af LOL and Anna is this devil trapped in a little girl's body. Everyone is k00l.

Rhonda and Christine had to swap car park spots bcus the time limit was almost up but they were scared other people would take them so we volunteered to literally stand on both car spots until they drove around lel.

Then we went Meet Fresh and it was so yum esp in the ratchet ass oven weather.

Then Tammy and I trained to St James to go Carols in the Domain. We met up with Jan and the whole crew and sweltered in the heat. The sun was right above us and if we didn't bring umbrellas / Jan didnt bring her shelter thing, we would've been cooked human dumplings.

I couldn't stay for actual carols because I had work which was sad. Me Oi was so quiet tonight omg it was so chill. We finished super early bcus there were very little customers. Wooooooohoooeoooohooo didn't get told off too many times today aye. #notfiredyet

ATAR WAS 99.85 I WAS KIND OF EXPECTING IT BUT KIND OF NOT LIKE I WAS EXPECTING AROUND 99.80 but Feng linked me this vid of this other guy getting 99.85 and he was so sad about missing out the scholarship by 0.05

so the night before atar came out me and amy got drunk and we went a lil cray and I told phynia I thought her dp was pretty even tho its not really???????????? but w/e I was drunk it doesn't count.

So yah we woke up at 9 and couldn't check it immediately because Amy forgot her pin. Before we checked eug told me what she got so after she told me I was expecting something lower than her and I was like I will cry if I get 99.85 because so close and I had Feng's video in the back of my mind

then I opened and I got 99.85 and I started hysterically laughing and crying and lmao just couldn't deal with being so close to that 99.90 scholarship.

I am ok with my atar now because like w/e its still pretty good even tho i missed out just a tiny bit but shit happens. kinda feel sad for even studying in year 12  because it accounted to nothing I mean legit I couldve gotten 91 without trying tbh

PEAK PARTY

Just came home from peak party and I am so drunk. Peak party was at Bach Dang

I don't think I'm that heavyweight anymore because I had 8 shots and I'm tipsy. My mum just tripped over but I'm too tipsy to think.

Anyway at the beginning of the night I was feeling so self conscious because all the recently graduated were on one table and I was sitting with some random chem tutors lol

Anyway I made some new friends before I was tipsy and they were mostly all chem tutors lmao. They were really nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

They were offering beers  but I was like nah I'm underage. And I was just real awkward but it was like ok,...

Then the shots came out.

Banhdrew brought out this vodka and Mel, Yen and Banhdrew went around to every table and did a shot with them.

then they did that with tequila and whiskey until I had about 7-8 shots. I don't know. Anyway I got real tipsy and still am and i started talking to everyone and I met lots of people and I told heaps of them that I was tipsy and they probably were too though because everyone had shots.

So now I'm tipsy as I'm writing this and this is my real literary voice y'all that's right heres a slice of my real real real life. I talked to Yen and she was like you should try teaching and I was like nah I will be a tomato and she was like nah you don't know until you try so go hit up Mel if you want to do it. Sir congratulated me on my ATAR and Nathan also congratulated me.

All the Senior teachers did speeches and it was so gr9. Sad Mel is leaving because she is so nice.

Food pho dayz

took half of the crazy chicken group to eat free pho at me oi today lel.

connie innie lianne lulu carrie feng fd kylie tammy jan sharon and yah tina said she was going to go with eugene.  Jan's mum popped up too!!

we all ordered different bowls of pho and most said it was very filling but I couldve eaten more.

we also ordered drinks so it'd be less slack just eating free pho. Francis had to make all the drinks and was like "I'll get my revenge."

but he won't.

We went downstairs and also saw Larissa, Cath Guo and Emily Deng!

Went to work today and rolled up some spring rolls. Got to leave early because boss said only people who were working tmr needed to stay back.

Only working 22 hours next week :( was supposed to work 30 with the old roster but boss changed it last minute. 2 veterans are working 84 hours next week lel. Good luck.

Allianz Stadium getting packed. 

Ed Sheeran was a one man band (there was no one but him on the stage except when Elton John came on lol) and he just kept using the loop pedal like a boss. His harmonies were so nice and everything was just so nice. It was pouring before the concert but thank buddha I was sitting under shelter. The atmosphere was a lil hectic everyone was singing/screaming the lyrics depending on the song. Idk what my favourite song was because they were all amazing. Every song sounded different compared to on the album but in a really good way like they were usually extended or had some crazy loop stuff going on.

I GOT A JOB (I THINK)

I'm working at Me Oi at Strathfield!! 

Francis told me to give my resume last week so I did. 

This morning was so hectic. I woke up at 10:30 ish then checked my phone and I had a missed called from a random number so I was like shitttttttttt. I called back then Francis answered and was like lol I will give you to the boss who then asked me to come in asap for my trial. I checked my phone and the next train was in 8 mins so I got ready in 3 mins then left the house LOL. It is the quickest I have ever gotten ready omfg. I realised I wore diff coloured converses when I got on the train but too late to do anything about it.

Work is pretty fun. A lot less stressful than KFC. Francis is so annoying omfg. I told him to make me a drink because he works in that section and he gave me ice water. He kept asking me to thank him for it and I would've flipped him off but can't exactly do that at work... 

There was a really nice co-worker who just came to Australia 3 months ago!! She was telling me about how she was surprised there were so many asians in the CBD and Campsie etc.

The manager asked me if I ever get late but it sounded like laid and I was like WTF why do you ask this but yeh he meant late. But what a weird way to phrase the question amirite??

It's 2 minutes from the station so come visit me lel.

OVERPRICED FOOD PT 2

FD just posted about the overpriced lunch we had at Tyson's restaurant and I was like wow such coincidence!!! Because I just came back from dinner at Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant at Wynyard and it was even more overpriced than the so-so viet stuff we had at Indochine.

It cost $58 for the three course Christmas meal special thing. Expensive af I know but my auntie was paying hehehehe. I was expecting so much because of the price and ITS JAMIE OLIVER but no it was such a let down...

There are no pictures because the lighting was so shitty.

Entree was this tasting platter thing with cheese and meats. It was ok but nothing special. My favourite was the buffalo mozzarella balls that tasted a little like string cheese just ball form. Everything was slathered in Jamie Oliver's signature olive oil.

Main was so so so so so so disappointing. I ordered some slow cooked chicken or some shit idk what it was. So dry and tasteless I swear they didn't even bother to salt it. There was no sauce with it only this potato mash kinda thing that wasn't made of potato. Everything was just bland af and they tried to hide the blandness with a shitload of green veggies. I hate veggies.

I tried other peoples mains and they were all better than mine. Cousin got this super yummy pork belly thing and my auntie ordered a so-so fish dish. I have really bad luck when I order things I swear. Will always remember when I got this alcoholic N2 sorbet and it was so bitter and nasty but Kylie liked it??

Dessert was not as bad. I ordered a trifle with meringue, custard, rosewater jelly and strawberries and it was pretty yummy. But again nothing special. I feel like it is something you could make with very little dollars.

This was my first time going to his restaurant it was not a good experience. Kylie says it is yummy tho. Maybe if you go don't get the Christmas banquet because the choices are pretty limited and nothing is spectacular.

Dinh's 18th, Amy's Sleepover

Went to Nancy Dinh's birthday party at Coogee on Wednesday. It was pretty fun, met a few new people. Got pushed around by the waves for like 3 hours and got sunburnt hahaha. When I met up with Amy at Coles she was so shocked at how black I was.

Had another sleepover at Amys. We tried to get drunk on Baileys but I didn't feel anything :(( The quest to get drunk continues.

The next day FD, Feng and Victor came over and we made spaghetti for lunch. Then we went canoeing in the river behind Amy's house. Feng, Amy and I were in one canoe and we caught a sad little jellyfish. Fd and Victor were in another one and they were so slow. They spent most of the time bein romantic in their canoe and basically just drifted along not bothering to row.

Getting one shift per week at Peak again because nothing to mark :(

Went to Coogee for Ivy's birthday party today!! Met up with fd the egg at Central then took half an hour bus to the beach. We thought everyone was going to be there already because we were already late but no. We arrived after applying sunscreen and hiding in the shade to find that Ivy was not even there yet.

There was so much food it was great. We ate some roll things and they were really filling. Ivy's dad was so nice and cooked all the meat for us.

FD, Jusmin, Innie and I went down to the beach pretty early because we were sitting around waiting for meat. We went to the actual beach first and no one wanted to go in because no one brought swimwear except for me. But eventually the 36 degree weather forced them to get into the water. Jks they probably were just soooooooooooo envious of all the fun I was having. The waves were so craxy. If they broke right where you were, you got pummelled to the ground. So you had to go deeper for it to be safer and hurt less??? Idk it was just a giant salty wave pool that was at times slightly life threatening. IT WAS SO FUN.

We also swam in the little "pool" area that isnt a pool but there were no waves so it was all good. The floor was covered in seaweed and it took so long to get used to.

I marked some year 12 phys exams and laughed because I would not even know how to answer some of them. But I have marking criteria so it is ok. Also I think marking actually helps you learn so much :O

Update: receptionist lady was not mean to me today. she didn't give me any withering looks and I think she asked me in a normal tone what I was going to do today instead of sighing and just pointing at things. also she offered me a donut at the end of my shift which I said no to.

Failed Scholarship Interview

soooooooooooooooooooooooo yeh

My buddy was super nice and took me on a uni tour. There's so much food and stuff at unsw. Kind of excited for uni because of all the food LOL. BUT SUCH A TREK. she gave me advice about uni timetables and stuff SO HOPEFULLY I WILL SURVIVE. also, I want to move out but have no money and don't want to leave my parents.

Apparently you can get free eye checks on campus from optom students. You're their guinea pigs and they do all these tests on you that you normally wouldn't get at a legit optom. They're supervised by more senior people so its totes safe.

Actual interview was a disaster. I was so flustered the whole time and I did not sound genuine in any of my responses because I was so damn flustered HAHAHAHAHA I was actually sweating in my chair. The committee people were staring into my soul. Also it was kind of a repeat of my KFC job interview because they asked me if I had any questions and I didn't so I asked something so so so so so so so so so so so so stupid the guy was kinda looking at me like???????????

Also I missed a call from a private number yesterday. It could've been a prospective employer. SO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH unemployed and without scholarship rn.

Jessica Jones

Watched season 1 of Jessica Jones in 2 days (honestly could've finished it in one if I didn't have peak). Its so good. Jessica Jones is basically a super badass alcoholic who has super strength. She spends the whole season trying to take down David Tennant who can tell anyone to do anything. I love it. Its pretty refreshing compared to the campy cw/abc superhero shows. There are so many gruesome deaths (INVOLVING BLENDERS AND WINE GLASSES). WATCH IT. The lawyer in it sucks tho I kept thinking if Annalise was in this show no one would have legal problems.

Also caught up with How To Get Away With Murder and TSUNEICKSKSK EVERYTHING IS SO FUCKED. The cliffhangers are so good like I could not stop watching. Please come out faster. Also can everyone stop lying????

Jan's Bday

I took no photos so just going to recap.

We went to Holy Basil and ate shitloads of food. It was all gr8. Then we had some fried ice cream for dessert miam miam. We helped carry Jan's exercise equipment around the city lol. The 2kg dumbells were so friggen heavy omg.

Then we watched Hunger Games Mockingjay part 2 and it was pretty good. I liked it. Idk. The cinema was so cold tho I couldn't concentrate on the movie because it was that cold. It was pretty true to the book and yah it was just pretty good.

I hate it when old asian people talk about you when you are standing RIGHT THERE. The old peeps were like "wow shes so bulky shes got such big bones wowwwwwwwwwwwwww. She takes after her auntie. mhmmmm yehhh i see it."

Still practically unemployed. Found out that my lil cousins go Peak for primary tutoring. Compulsively refreshing my email hoping that someone will hire me.

I just applied to 3 dominos locations, top juice, a random receptionist job and tried to advertise tutoring to my noisy 8-12 year old cousins.

Does anyone else say to themselves, "wow I'm such an attention seeker," then keep attention seeking? Because that is me.

SHORT TERM 12 IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Its one of those movies that makes u feel sad then happy then sad again then happy. Also I need to remember that I do not have legitimate struggles. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND SERIOUSLY WATCH IT.

Got an interview for a scholarship but going to fail because I feel the nerves and awkwardness coming along already. After all do I really have a passion for engineering??? The interviewers will know better than me.

I watched Particle Fever yesterday and would highly recommend for everyone - not just people who like physics. I kinda dislike physics and I liked it. Its a documentary about the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva and how thousands of scientists from around the world somehow collaborated to build the "largest single machine in the world". The purpose of the machine was to bash particles together to observe whether the Higgs Boson existed or not. It kinda gets emotional at the end which is so weird because people are crying over physics but yeh some of them have dedicated 30+ years of their life to theories which may or may not be true. One of the physicists reminded me of Ms Mccrossin.

Got back to work on Melbourne video because I finally googled how to make my video editor stop lagging -.-

Watched Saving Private Ryan and tbh it was kinda boring...I liked the story and everything but it was really slow paced. Maybe that's just me.

compiling year 12 videos

Justin Bieber's Purpose is so good. I was too ceebs to do anything today so made a video. Prepare for shaky camera work, vertical filming and lots of candid laughing.

I talk lots of shit. Like "I need to get a job omg" but not being bothered to get out and find one.

I had the most fucked up dream. It was Halloween and everyone I had ever known were seated in a hall. Jason from GHPS let me inside the hall. They were all dressed up with face paint and errything. Then we started to play this game where you had to kill everyone you saw. Feng and I were initially working together and we looked around to find weapons but all we could find were metallic chopsticks so we grabbed them anyway. Then we faced off with Fip, Tammy and Lulu and we killed them by stabbing them with the chopsticks. I remember there was lots of resistance in their flesh. Now I think about it was kinda like chicken textured. After that Feng disappeared and I had somehow acquired a knife. I was so pro everyone tried to chop me but I was so fast and killed all my opponents. I distinctly remember rushing into one of the science rooms and Ms Mahmic was laughing at all of us trying to kill each other. My dream ended with me about to stab a little kid in the eyeball after I had killed all his friends. I remember I had some humanity though because I was about to decapitate one but I feared he would have a difficult recovery so I just sliced his stomach.

What my dream is telling me:

• I am very violent and want to kill everyone I know
• Feng will always be my accomplice
• I have hesitations about decapitating children
• I have a preference for metallic chopsticks (or Korean food you can take this both ways)
• Jason and Ms Mahmic have both had a great impact on my life??????
• I am destined to reside in science labs 
• Everyone in my life is fake / hiding behind a mask

Money $truggles

I am running out of money to fuel my post-hsc adventures.

Also Peak only pays at the end of the month so I am running on very limited money until then :( I also don't want to ask my dad for money since I have a job now. Sooooooooo lol. And I can't actually work everyday it just depends on how many people there are on one day.

I skipped Spectre yesterday. So much to do but no money to do it with. Went shopping with sister today but didn't buy anything and she shouted me dinner so yay.

Was going to edit a video together for Melbourne Casey Neistat style but gave up because my computer is too laggy. Maybe after I get a new laptop I will try again. Darren Taing's SBHS video was sooooooooo Casey Neistat complete with white font. Or maybe I've just been watching too many of his videos and everything with a timelapse looks like his stuff.

If you don't watch his videos you should start because they are really cool. He uses all these funky filming and editing techniques when he makes "movies" or vlogs. And he rides boosted boards which is next level cool. I want one so bad :(

This is so weird but I feel like youtubers are so much more likeable when they have families. Otherwise their vlogs are so boring. Post-hsc has made me crazy I am watching 20 minute vlogs of Roman Atwood playing with his little kids or driving to random stores to find fans.

Going to finally finish signing off tomorrow (travelling using school pass lol) and then maybe picnic later on.

Formal + GHPS Reunion @ Paintball

Formal was on Monday night.

Kylie, Fiona, Feng and I went to a place in Cabra to get our hair and makeup done. The woman did it so quickly and it was ok. Except we all kinda looked the same at the end HAHAHAHA Feng kept complaining she looked so Chinese whilst Kylie was like omg I'm so Korean. But they all looked like princesses.

 WHEN YOUR MUM TELLS U TO POSE FOR PHOTOS. The hand would usually be a rude finger but you can't exactly flip off your parents.

Feng and I won class clowns but we haven't even had a class together since year 10. Waiting for the official photographer to post pics before I can post them here.

We went for a late night maccas run to darling harbour maccas. It was such a trek and when we got there it was fucking closed. Sign said it closed at 1am and we got there at 1:17am. sad lyf.

We went back to the hotel but super lame over 18s wouldn't buy us alcohol whilst everyone else was partying and getting drunk we were just chilling on our phones.

Some people were playing cards against humanity but I've played it too many times so its not really fun anymore. Melbourne crew slept in the living room "bcus we were used to the slum conditions". Joyce made a makeshift bed from chairs and it was so strange. She insisted it was comfortable tho. Meanwhile FD and I had a shitty sleep bcus the only blankets we had were towels so our legs were so cold throughout the entire night.

I couldn't sleep because I drank tea so I ended up watching Youtube videos until 4am. Sometime in the night I walked out the hotel room to look down the hallway then the door closed behind me and I was locked out. I had to call Lulu to open it HAHAHA oops.

The next day (Tuesday) everyone except for innie got up at 8ish. I was so tired. We left to get some Maccas for brek + starbucks then  decided to go to Brighton Beach. It was really nice beach weather. We waded around in the shallow water because no one had clothes to change into. Then we had a bitch session.

At this point I still had not showered. Had remnants of formal makeup and hairspray in my hair. After the beach I had sand up my nostrils and my ears. I was so nasty.

Then I went to Die Hard Paintball in Turrella for the Georges Hall reunion lmao. I only had a strapless bra so I told Amy to bring me one. This is what she brought. I was wearing a pretty thin white shirt as well far out.

I was so excited to play paintball. I had always wanted to do it because it sounded so fun. NEK MINNIT.

The first time I got shot I was like FUCK. I held my thigh and hobbled back to my respawn point swearing the whole way back. It was so painful. Then I got shot 3 more times in the same fucking round because I was so noob. The one that hurt the most was the one on my hairline/forehead. When the person shot me my head recoiled and I thought I was going to get a concussion. After the first round I was more careful because I never wanted to be shot ever again. So I mostly stayed in the same spot, hid and shot occasionally. 

Madison was so good at tactics and stuff I think our team won almost every single game. Even though I didn't help. 

Our instructor was so crude. He was telling the boys to buy crotch protection because the last time he was shot there his penis was bruised for 3 weeks and he couldn't cum. He was also so crazy like a totalitarian dictator. Clintoris broke a rule by taking his mask off on the field so the instructor shot him in the same butt cheek 5 times. Then Andrew did the same thing except he was just a few metres out from the safe zone. The instructor made us each shoot him once in the back/butt which was a total of 10 times. Poor child. His bruises kinda look like nipples. 

Amy was like "OMG IT WAS SO FUN" and I was like "NEVER  DOING THAT EVER AGAIN".

Anto got shot in the eyebrow and it looked so horrifying. He has his formal today HAHAHAHA. We played mafia afterwards and it took us about half an hour to even get started. It was so fail everyone kept getting the roles mixed up. 

No one has changed.

The year 6s of 5/6L minus a couple of people. Eric came but he left early. 

RIP if you read this post using data. I have wasted so much money over the past few weeks its time to stop going out and work.
