Met up with Feng and FD to celebrate Feng's 19th birthday!! We went to Lidcombe to have bingsoo from Bakery Cafe Cael. Didn't like the green tea one as much because the green tea made it not sweet enough.
We stayed at the Cafe for like 2 hours HAHAHA then went to Campsie for dinner. Ran into Feng's family who were going out to dinner without her because she flaked on them for us HAHAHA
Had some yummy Japanese food at a restaurant near the station and FD's friend was working there so she gave us free ice cream. Went back to Feng's house and chilled for a few hours. Drove homu!!

Watching a livestream of my MMAN2400 lecture and I have the same annoying lecturer as last year. I streamed it to my TV and my mum came downstairs and was like oh is she your lecturer? The scenes when her mum is trying to make her wear pink clothes and go shopping with her is literally my relo with my mum HAHAHA she is so overjoyed when I actually purchase things that are not black.

Also I haven't seen Loving, Jackie or Florence Foster Jenkins so only have Isabelle to compare Emma to, and Emma was better.

The main emotional scene in this between her and Casey I could not breathe it was AMAZING. I haven't seen Fences but Viola Davis probably going to win for it.

Beats out La La Land and the Lobster easily. Kenneth Lonergan just extracted all the feels from my body and flushed them down the toilet. He wrote in all the overlapping dialogue and the pauses and it was extremely detailed but somehow the actors made it seem totally natural. Who knows how people write art.

So I've been holding free homework help classes recently for my Year 6s because the actual selective test is coming up so soon and... I've had some of the funnest lessons I've ever had tutoring. Children are actually so funny and insightful sometimes. There has only been 4 kids showing up: Ro, Na, Is and An and they are all angels and really hardworking and worried about selective and just UGH why can't they all be like this.
We finished a lil early and they were asking me about high school, uni, ATARs, and all that and one of them said "isn't it boring going to an all girl's school" to which I responded with this face
