Went out for dinz with ma familia at Masuya. Food was pretty good but a bit exxy. Ranked them lol because I'm so bored watching Miss Congeniality rn.
salmon aburi - can't fuck this up ugh so good
kingfish aburi - had a good roasted flavour
eel and rice - a bit salty but still good
agedashi tofu - sauce was so yummy but we ordered so much and I got sick of it lol
veggie tempura - nothing special
wagyu beef - DISAPPOINTING :( half of it was really tough
swordfish carpaccio - the sauce was so good but too weird for me
sashimi ew - IT'S RAW
looked at Martin Place Xmas tree as well as the lights on St Mary's Cathedral.
CHRISTMAS EVE!!!
woke up at 6:20 to go see da figure 8 pools and I was so scared we were going to die cus the tides and bush fire/thunderstorm warnings.
Was a sham because theres only 1 pool that was shaped like an 8 but was a good experience. Stephen picked us up from various stations, got maccas and water. Hike there was hella long, had to climb over rocks and shit. We were also expecting it to be a lot hotter than it was lol. I think I'm a bit sunburnt.
The water in the 8 pool was really murky compared to what it looks like on social media. Probs cus so many people swam in it during the day that all the dirt and moss was stirred up. I picked up lots of snails in the rock pools and put them on Stephen's shoulder for skin treatment. Amy and Eugene are so so petrified of slug looking things lmao I touched Eugene's shoulder with my FINGER and she jumped so hard. We tried to catch this tiny crab as well but it was too strong and quick it kept retreating when we got close. Threw lots of moss and there was this brown moss that looked like shit.

Pools were really nice temperature though would recommend. Lmao ran into my sis as well there.
Walk back was super tiring at first with all the stairs but after a while it flattened out. It also started thunderstorming but it was still hot so the rain was nice on our skin. moped about how NONE OF THEM WOULD WATCH MOVIES WITH ME THAT I REALLY WANNA WATCH:
- STAR WARS I'm about to implode I cannot believe I haven't watched it and its been out for almost 2 weeks now
- CALL ME BY YOUR NAME advanced screenings were on the weekend but alas my friends are wenches
THE MORE TIME THAT GOES ON THE MORE SPOILERS I AM SEEING FOR THSOE TWO MOVIES FML
Ate way too much at Jang Ta Bal but all the food was so so so nice with the exception of this thicc pork steak that was really tough and dry.
Trained home, took a 45 minute shower then napped. I'm so cranky these days like I hear children running around outside when I'm tryna nap and I have this urge to go out and yell at them. I woke up to the sound of screaming children and also my parents had returned from aldi with a brand new coffee machine!! Keen me decided to try it and fuck even though I'm on about 6 hours of sleep, its 4:35 am and I'm NOT FUCKING TIRED.
Watched the Crown with my sis LOVE ITTTTTT but fuck Matt Smith's character omfg so selfish and childish. Was feeling lowkey fomo for not being at Amy's phamily xmas this year
Then when my sis got too tired I played Tetris with Selz and Amy Lim. Smashed them (obviously XD) then played online Cards Against Humanity which Amy was so good at
i am really not in the christmas spirit atm i just wanna sleep and watch carol
convincing myself I'm funny after losing all the rounds in cards against humanity

Woke up super late. Sis and I gave our parents their personalised calendar and they seemed to like it. Helped mum cook all day and we watched The Crown. Hung out with my little neighbours for a bit as well.
Watched the Queen's Christmas address because now I feel like I just KNOW her. She is an actual person that has gone through shit.
DINNER WITH MANLY'S FAMILYYYYYY. After we ate all the food I showed Manly and Tian some videos from KO and Manly said he would totally go next time lol.
