This final week of uni has been disastrous.

Got 21/30 for my MMAN test rip me still don't know what I did wrong.

Did MMAN lab report last minute and it was just really fucking bad.

Didn't study for comp test and it was miracle I still ended up getting like 2/3 of the questions correct. For the last q we had to write a function with input of two strings and had to return a new string that was the union of the two original strings.

I FUCKING GOT IT BUT AN EXTRA ARROW KEPT BEING PRINTED AT THE BEGINNING I WANTED TO KILL SOMEONE and I had no idea why it was wrong UHGHGUHGUGHGUHGUHGUGHGUHGUHGU

Last Week of Sem 2

Yesterday

So idk if I talked about this but basically when I took the 8A class the receptionist told me it was only going to be for a term because Jimmy was taking them at the beginning of next year but lol apparently not so I may have to keep taking them through next year??? 

Yesterday missed my MMAN tute because could not be bothered to get up sorry. Emailed my tutor and he told me I got 21/30 for my test lol still interested in what I got wrong lol so I might collect it tomorrow.

Ran into a certain someone at central whom I had not talked to in so long. She’s so so so so easy to talk to but for some reason she thinks she has social anxiety and I’m like I CALL BULLSHIT but she says she does so maybe I just have to take her word for it. Such a kind person J Feng be like nah she’s dodgy.

After that, I went to uni just to mark my name off for BIOM tute and then went to Amy’s house to tutor Kevin! Took the train with Joyce and she accompanied me to buy mi fav roasted milk tea with herbal jelly from Chatime. Taught Kevin for so long because I feel like we are falling behind on the syllabus.

Amy’s mum made Pad See Ew for dinner which was miam miam and then we had nothing to do so Amy decided to try some Halloween makeup. She made me into a bejazzled mermaid and I transformed her into a cute little wolf. I’m sorry if you saw my snap story last night I did not know she posted that first one until hours later. I wanted to die.

Then we watched It’s a Girl Boy Thing??? So cringey omfg but kinda fun to laugh at how bad it is.

Today

Went to uni with Amy pretty late lol. She went to her tute and I just sat at Hilmer building. Just as I’m starting to study, Jan and Jusmin walk in. Then we started playing TetrisFriends. Jan and I were pretty even but Jusmin was always last having sent like 2 lines each game.

Then they left, but Amy and Stephen came so we went to Mamak to eat. We tried this new dish that Stephen always gets and it was so yummy. It’s fried rice with fried chicken and egg yassssssssssssss HIGHLY RECOMMEND…once I figure out what its called.

HAHAHAHAH Stephen said he saw Tina and gave her a weird half smile??

Then we basically went home straight after. I finished my MMAN quiz and maple tute at least :/

Yesterday

Tutored the year 5s today. I'm always apprehensive beforehand because its either gonna be a good day or a bad day. It was a good day today.

Taught them some ~geometry and how to spell isosceles hehehe. Also I'm so scared of other teachers judging me because I know I'm kind of shit and I don't react to things how I should react. But basically this boy was like "Miss I forgot to do my homework" JUST AS THE STRICT TEACHER I'M INTIMIDATED BY WALKED PAST and I was just like srsly fml need to be scary and I just interrogated him like "why not? You get homework every single week how can you just forget?". I need better training than this srs. I have a couple new students in my 5B class and this kid with an overbearing parent quit. She was probs like wow what is this teacher doing??

After tutoring I went to the new Gia Hoi in Cabra with fam . I did not know that Steak on the Rocks was owned by same person (THATS WHY THE DECO FOR THE TWO SHOPS IN CANLEY LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME!!!).

So feeling very existential/exhausted today I was talking to my co-worker and I was complaining like I want a job where you don't have to think about it when you get home and he was like "lol that's not teaching".

Tutored 8B class and lol idk I'm so tired of it idk I have no like for it at all. I am making myself miserable. 

I'm a complete mess and not fit for tutoring I'm such a bad teacher and literally make no sense most of the time, I put zero effort in getting to know the students because I'm scared they're going to be too noisy and like seriously not made for this life.

I am the worker and not a leader. 

I have gotten my Stage 1 and Stage 2 functions working with relatively little struggle HAHAHA which is so weird for me for COMP.

I forgot to enrol for 2017 Sem 1.............................................. and I also forgot to pay the $145 I owe to the university HAHAHA and that's going to take a couple of days to go through. (jk Stephen just said you can go to Student Central to unlock it)

What am I doing omfg send help.

This doco gives me the feels omfg I cannot. Its about this dude who had a pretty good life then suddenly got strep A, had all limbs cut off, lips got eaten away etc. So sad but him and his wife are so inspirational :(

So this morning I went to Student Central to ask them to unlock my account after panicking cus I checked the class times beforehand and everything was almost full. The guy who served me was super nice and got the job done.

Then I went to algebra and was frantically trying to make my timetable before I went into the exam HAHAHAHAH it wasn't working out because all the classes I wanted were already filled. 

Basically tried to get permission to clash one of my MMANs and MATH2019 but to do that you have to call BOTH faculties and yah it was going to take too long so I just decided to do MATH2089 (stats) instead and do the MATH2019 later on. This horrendous thing is what I ended up with:

I was supposed to have 29 fucking hours this sem but I "missed out" on the in-class lectures for MMAN2400 so I'm going to have to do online ones which cuts down contact hours to 25 hours. But tbh going to skip ALL LECTURES except for maybe the first week cus gotta know course outline and all that jazz. 

Some side notes:

Did shit in my algebra test because two of the questions were in none of the practice exams (seriously what the fuck DO YOU WANT ME TO FAIL???) and also went to Whitehouse to eat with Amy, Stephen, Hanna and her no-longer-bae Simon.

I was so confused because Hanna and her ex-bf are basically still besties and they tag each other in sexual memes and stuff BUT NOT TOGETHER BUT they are soooooo close.

Then did MMAN lab and soooooooooo many people were there because erryone was doing it last minute. We couldn't share results because the weights/distances you used were based on the last four digits of your student number.

Then left to tutor Kevin, who farted a lot today HAHAHAH but was very attentive THEN WENT BACK TO CITY met up with FD and Feng, we all went to Arisun and ate dinner with the ANUS amy. 

OMG ALSO I SAW THE JIMMY TUTOR THAT I TOOK OVER THE 8A AND 8B CLASS FROM AND I WAS SO FLUSTERED HAHHAHAHHA she introed me to her bf and I was like coooooool Jenny's my mentor shes amazing IDK WHAT I WAS SAYING nervous laughter hahaha get me out of here casually mentions that I haven't marked my HW for tomorrow her eyes widen like this girl got some organisational problems gasps in shock "BUT ITS TOMORROW!" HA HA HA OUTSIDE LAUGHTER BUT INSIDE ROASTING ME FOR BEIN SO LAST MINUTE she starts talking about night noodle markets I say something stupid idk whats happening I then say hahah ok I'll see you later!!!!! keenly leaves and pretends to look at menu with FD but inside screaming get me out of here. These arabic (?) people were sitting next to us during lunch and I was describing my arabic driving instructor and I think they got offended and they started bitching about us and eventually moved to another table lol. 

aM going to get crucified if I say I think Phynia is a really easy person to get along with but probs because I don't know her well enough.

Week 1 Term 4 back at it

ugh back to normal tutoring AFTER 3 WEEKS OFF hate my life little kids are shits. I think I've been forever scarred by my Year 5s and am generally a more grumpy person in my everyday life.

One of the really nice tutors came up to me and was like "do you like it here" and then we started gossiping about pay and how much effort we have to put just for 1 lesson and I was so surprised cus she always seemed like one of those tutors that looked like she was totally handling the workload.

Also on Sunday I saw sooooooooooo many of the Year 9s going into their first class with Jimmy and I was internally laughing cus so many of them were late and to get into Jimmy's classroom you have to like push open this sliding door and battle through these blinds and it's basically a huge mess so NEVER go late to Jimmys or suffer major embarrassment.

Oktoberfest

Ummmmm so last night I got a lil too drunk but not that drunk because I actually remember like everything.

Worked on filming BIOM group project yesterday morning  it was pretty fun lol. The concept is a cringey infomertial trying to sell implanted drug delivery systems. I think its going to be entertaining but also not very informative. Oh well. I'll edit it over the weekend.

Then met up with the drinking society at Whitehouse yet again 🤗 I didn't get anything but ended up eating Lianne's nachos because she's a mouse and ate like 1/5 of it.

Then Feng, Joyce and I went lib to chill. Didn't do any work because I didn't have a red pen to mark with lmao.

We went to Chem Sciences building to change into our Oktoberfest outfits.

Were not drunk yet so we we were so hesitant in going outside. Plus it was fucking freezing. Then we went to physics lawn and got our wristbands hahaha we were so awkward bcus didn't know anyone there. Anywayyyy started drinking the unlimited punch + german beers they offered and yeh got a lot more relaxed.

Hung with Phuc's group because I can only ever socialise with them when I'm drunk (wowzers I've got some issues or im just a bitchz). It was really fun lmao. I think I had 6ish drinks on the lawn because after a while they stopped marking the wristband. Met this funny dude called Bennet I doubt he remembers me. Ugh and Jing its a no from me.

Anyways got really drunk on the lawn, needed to pee so I went bathroom with Brenda, Liz and Niina but we were all so gone so everyone was screaming in the bathroom and I was like I CANT PUT MY SUSPENDERS BACK ONNNNNNNNNN and they helped me clip it back on but idk if they even did it properly. At least I still have my suspenders UNLIKE JOYCE srs how do you lose suspenders??

Then idk what happened next but all of a sudden we were walking towards the party bus but we had to wait for someone so we all started rolling around in the grass and laughing like crazy.  Niina kept saying I was a great actor and I was like HAHAHAHAHAHA

Um then we got on the party bus and I was so damn amazed. The party bus was a normal bus on the outside BUT on the inside there were like disco lights and party music blasting. The seats were also along the side so there was space in the middle to dance. We danced for like half the trip bcus the driver started playing not that great music. Also some girl started twerking on us (the one on the left in the picture with the glasses)

Then we got to The Med which they booked out just for the party and yah pretty chill club it was a good amount of people all dancing and stuff. We got two free drinks upon entrance and like apparently they were really strong but I was so gone I didn't notice so I sculled them really quickly.

NEK MINNIT IM FACE DOWN ON A TABLE, THE WORLD IS SPINNING MY HEAD FUCKING HURTS AND JING HAS HIS ARM AROUND ME like wtf. I wasn't that weirded out in the moment bcus yenno drunk so I was kinda like watevs. THEN TIME JUMP and I get up and dance and when I go back to the table Joyce is making out with him????? AND I REMEMBER TELLING SOMEONE "THATS SO GROSS". Later on i even confronted him like why were you making out with Joyce?!?! And he said "why did you want me to make out with you" and I was so offended like ew no.

Then another time jump idk what happened in that club. Andy lost his phone and he called it with someone elses phone but he couldn't communicate properly with the person who picked up so I talked to the guy for him and I was like "WE'RE ON THE RIGHT WE'RE ON THE RIGHT!!!!" which literally made zero sense. Andy found his phone in the end so all g.

Left pretty early with Phuc because we were both getting off at ffld.

Uneventful train ride he was doing his MMAN tute thats how sober he was lmao.

I on the other hand could not sit up straight. Dad picked us up and Phuc was like "do you want me to pretend I'm gay" HAHAHAHA. Phuc got dropped off and my dad said his house was really big but I don't remember. Then when I got home I was feeling pretty sick and I was just sitting in my room when I felt the vomit come up and I ran to the bathroom with mi hand over my mouth but I was too late and some of the vomit spilled out lol. My dad was like um why is ur vomit orange??

Woke up at 8 today literally way too early. I was hungover affff I actually got up at 6 to keep vomiting HAHAHAHAHA.

Went to uni to finish filming our BIOM thing. i just realised i spelt camera wrong

 Went to algebra tute and didn't listen again. He didn't even mark the roll so I basically wasted my time. Then met up with Selena and Mevena for lunch at quad lawn and chilled. I was bitching to Selena then Francis came randomly because he made a bet with his friends he could get a girl's number so I had to pretend I didn't know him. so strange omfg. BUT HE JOINED IN OUR BITCH SESSION AND WAS LIKE OMFG HE'S SUCH A DICK HAHAHAHAHAHA

ANYWAY saw FD and Michelle Jusmin randomly.

TUESDAY

Woke up for uni at 7 PRAISE ME. It was such a struggle I slept at almost 2 lol. Went to BIOM lecture and as always saw Cal and Rachel because for some reason they always make it to 9am classes??

I didn't even listen to the lecture I mostly prepped for the 8A lesson. They're doing Statistics bleurgh like the histogram and frequency polygram stuff we did with Ms Maloukis. Oh Ms Maloukis so many yr8 mems. Like that time Jenny and I finished our HW then we started playing cards and Jan and Feng joined in even though they hadn't finished. Then Maloukis came around and was like "WHY ARE YOU PLAYING CARDS HAVE YOU EVEN FINISHED YOUR HW" then jenny and I nodded and showed her, then Jan and Feng also nodded and she was like "can I see" then they were like shiiiiiit and went back to doing their HW lmao.

Anyway, went Whitehouse as usual with Feng, Lulu and Joyce. Saw Savannah walked in and I was like SAVANNAH then she came and hugged me bcus I guess what normal people do when they haven't seen each other in 7ish years. She's still dating Lachlan (we were all prefects together in primary). She said Ms Lind still talks about us lmao.

Then I went to comp tute but skipped my lab :/

Went home, took a nap then headed off to tutoring.

First day taking 8A. I TRIED TO BE AS SCARY AS I COULD by threatening them that I would move them down to 8B if they weren't hardworking  but I think it just came off as someone telling them to do things they didn't want to do. They are a really smart and attentive class tho. There are some really you would say "lovely" students in that class. Let's see how long it takes them to start being noisy hahahah. Juliana's sister is in my class and her name is also Serena.

Then went home and didn't do anything... played dbd again and lmao we played 7 rounds. Everyone is too good now the survivors always win. Stephen trolled me when I was the killer and he said he found the trap door so I would leave Andrew who was on the hook :(  Played until my mum started screaming at me.

They have this running joke that I am a black person. I don't know why. They call me negro :(

WEDNESDAY

I'm officially that dog team member that doesn't do anything in the group project. I woke up at 11:45 when the meeting was at 12 HAHAHAHA. Its ok I volunteered to do the editing of the film. High school mems!!!

Currently sitting with Lulu there were like 7 of us all trying to buy tickets to JB concert and so far no luck :(

Um wtf did I just watch.

The Shallows

Overall 6/10 movie. It was well made just pretty boring lol. It only got exciting towards the end. The shark was quite terrifying. Didn't like the character development of the main girl it was so forced and cliche bleurgh.

Legend of Tarzan

6.5/10 didn't like Alexander Skarsgård he's not rugged enough to play Tarzan. CGI gorillas were off-putting at times. Plot was very convoluted. Its funny because when people make remakes and its too similar to the original, people will complain but if its too diff people will also complain. 

On a side note why are they making a live-action remake of Mulan?

Starting the year 8A class tomorrow HAHAHAHAAAAA. I need to mentally prepare myself for this.

Basically I had a huge miscommunication with the prev teacher who I'm taking over from...I thought she wasn't going to give me any help with preparation and stuff like bcus on the fb chat she seemed so laid back.

Since the class was tomorrow I was like full panicking and I drove to the centre to get resources. I looked through the resource room, Jimmys folders etc and I couldn't find the year 8 textbook so I was flustered af like wtf am I meant to teach them AND ITS TOMORROW

nek minnit she texts me and shes like I'm coming to the centre rn and then she arrives and she has all this stuff and she says she didn't realise it was tomorrow.

so now i am saved.

She gave me photocopy of the textbook notes since "the year 8 textbook went missing" HAHAHAHA. So I still need to prep work from the textbook notes but better than nothing.

She also told me they need to be scared once in a while O_O

I saw one of my year 9 students when I went there today and I was like what are you doing here today and she was like "we have tutoring with Jimmy today" and I laughed like

I havent been tutoring in almost 3 weeks (besides 4u) seriously rip me idk if i can deal with children for much longer

Like everytime my 4u kids ask me a question about a past HSC question I look up the solns and I'm like how the fuck does anyone come up with this but then I have to try and explain it like I know what I'm talking about. LMFAOOOOOOO got this email from P&C inviting me back to share my experience of HSC with current parents. I can't even go because I have tutoring (new 8B class let me die), so I thought I would send them some answers to the questions anyway. Also how did they get my thesereninator email? I don't remember giving it to them.

HSC Preparation and Coaching / tutoring the way to go / is it healthy?

• Went to tutoring for every subject except English and Engineering
• Highly recommend Peak and Jimmy (Cabramatta/Canley) but there is high risk of getting shivved by gangs around the area. look at this bunch of white people marvelling at the amount of asians in one area. 
• on a side note they got rid of the red wooden benches in cabra and replaced them with weird stone looking things?? 

• Is tutoring the way to go? FUCK YES half the teachers at SGHS haven no clue what they're doing. Won't name names but damn that bra-less teacher that used tea tree oil for mosquito repellent really should not have been teaching physics.
• Is tutoring healthy? Probably not. But yo if you don't want your daughter to fail the HSC, not get into uni, not get married, not get a job, not buy a house for you, become a hobo, be laughed at by all your relatives then sure let them do whatever they want
• legit tho thats what the boss at Peak always lectured us about like "if you fail HSC, you fail life" which is kind of bullshit.
• Real talk: if I didn't go tutoring I would have fo sure failed the HSC but its diff for everyone

Thursday night - stayed up till 4 trying to finish my MMAN lab report (which I'm going to fail anyway) then woke up at 9 to get to uni.

Quickly finished MMAN report on the train, submitted it then started "studying" for comp. I looked over revision labs and stuff but didn't really put 100% effort into it. Then Phuc arrived and after that I just stopped studying completely.

Comp1917 Exam 2
I dunno I did 2/3 questions...The first one was easy as shit it was literally print a rectangle made of * given certain dimensions. The second one was a little harder but we had a very similar question it in our lab. You were given a string and an index and you had to rearrange the string according to that index. So 'Serena is a poop', index = 2, it would have to be "rena is a poopSe".  I'm a little annoyed because the third one wasn't that hard I just couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code and I ran out of time. The question was find the shortest word in the string and it wasn't in any of our labs or revision exercises so at least its not because I didn't study. Still sad tho :( I googled how to do it online and I literally did the same thing?!?! just many many bugs probs. Side note I didn't pee before the exam and I was busting throughout first and second qs but then adrenaline kicked in during the third question bcus I was panicking and coding like a madwoman and I forgot about the piss.

Was sad-ish after my exam so I was trying to find people to hang out with and so went to CAMPSIE to eat with Feng. I had pork ramen and feng had some karaage(?) don. We also ordered this rip off plum soju that only had 6% but tasted like 20. 

We went back to her house and stayed for a bit. Then I wanted to go home and play DBD so we took a train back to Carramar at like 11:30 LOL.

Played DBD with Amy, Stephen, Andrew :))))))))))))))) and Jason until 1. It was so fun omg Feng started screaming when she was being killed by the killer. Also I was such a shit killer :( I HOOKED NO ONE DURING MY ROUND OMG

Feng and her weird af body clock woke up at 9 ish?!?! We went to Cabra for some yum cha brunch. Took me 5eva to find parking. I was planning on taking Feng to Vinh Phat but yenno we saw the Saturday morning line like nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Decided to go to a more low key one nearby. 

Then bought some sugar cane juice and a shake. Feng went home then I started to prep for 4u tutoring. My 4u kids want to tutor up until the day OF their 4u exam HAHAHAHA. Anyway, went tutoring 3-5 and yah 4u tutoring is always so chill and it's probs my fav. 

Then went to dinner @Shikumen (Auntie's shout).

I have been watching so many The Voice and random singing videos lately.

My absolute favourite:

I know what you're thinking. Has Serina suddenly caught yellow fever after her short visit to the motherland? wtf no. His voice is actually just amazing and I love how he performs (srs those hand actions tho).  In the video he's performing on this TV show called Sing! but he's not actually a contestant. I think he's famous in China?! I have no clue what he's singing about but its beautiful.
