It was a stunning and cathartic end to one of the strongest episodes of the season thus far as the stakes across Westeros were ratcheted up spectacularly. Watching the Mother Of Dragons stride imperiously through the flames was doubly satisfying as it followed a spell in which the show hadn't seemed to know what to do with Daenerys. We've waited an eternity for her storyline to catch fire and tonight it did in a thrillingly literal sense.
